In a move to attract new members and invigorate the local business community, the Tavistock Chamber has unveiled a fresh and professional brand identity and website. The rebranding project, developed by Identity Studio Limited, introduces vibrant design elements intended to reflect the Chamber’s commitment to growth, collaboration, and innovation.
The new branding incorporates a striking colour palette of bold orange and deep blue. Orange symbolises creativity, warmth, and excitement, while blue conveys trust, stability, and intelligence — key qualities that align with the Chamber’s mission to support local enterprises. The orange is also a nod to Tavistock’s heritage of copper mining, while the refined logo features a leaf motif, signifying growth.
Although the Chamber actively supports businesses in the areas surrounding Tavistock, the project team also recognised the advantage of simplifying the brand name from ‘Tavistock and District Chamber of Commerce’ to the more concise ‘Tavistock Chamber’.
Identity Studio also designed and developed the new Tavistock Chamber website, incorporating an improved Members’ Directory, dedicated Events and News sections, and an online application process for new members.
