Endsleigh Press was established in 2025
Established in 2025 by Tavistock businessman and customer services guru Terry Green to publish and market his series of Jake Elderfield crime thrillers, the first of which, Redline, hit the bookshelves in August that year.
As “Cashier Number Three”, Terry’s voice once summoned around 25 million shoppers each month from queues in banks, shops and post offices worldwide. His first foray into writing, the business book, “You’re Next”, focussed on customer service and queue management.
Now, he has embraced the challenge of coming up with a twist on the classic detective story, with a series of novels set against the background of his working life. It’s a career that has taken some interesting twists and turns, from cars to queues, cellular phones to celebrity chefs, broadcasting to digital marketing, innovation adviser to the DTI to mentor for the Prince’s Trust. He is currently chairman of the ART Hospitality Group in the Midlands.

Terry is assisted by his wife, Sharon, who has a background in public relations and journalism. He works with publishing partner BeRead, set up in 2025 by two industry veterans to empower independent authors and publishers with expert strategy, branding and marketing.
Terry is keen to support the Tavistock high street and local businesses and is always happy to share his knowledge and expertise, whether business or customer service-related or connected to the ups and downs of self-publishing!
